I do have some machines that bridge two different networks running on the same LAN. So you can't get the DHCP and then use (for example) netsh to add a second static IP. So, no, you can't "set" that combination.Īdding a static IP to the config wipes off the DHCP. In Windows 7, you can set the NIC to DHCP and use the "Alternative configuration" to set a fixed IP if DHCP is not available.īut, you still get only one or the other.
